Almond Cake
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 8 oz almond paste
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 6 large eggs.at room temp
- 1 cup unsalted butter,at room temp
- preheat the oven to 325.Grease 9- or 10" cake mold.dust with flour and put parchment paper.
- In a bowl of food processor.grind the sugar.almond paste.and 1/4 cup of flour.the mixture resembles sand
- in abowl whisk together the remainig 3/4 cup of flour .baking powder and salt
- once the almond paste is completely broken ad the cubes of butter vanilla and almond extra proses until is very fluffy
- add the eggs 1 at the time
- add half the flour mixture and pulse and then the rest
