Easy Succotash
- 2 cups fresh lima beans
- 4 cups fresh corn, cut from cob
- 3 tbsp. butter
- margarine
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Cook beans in boiling salted water approximately 15 minutes or until almost tender; drain.
- Add corn, butter, whipping cream, salt and pepper; mix well.
- Cook over low heat, stirring often, for 7 to 10 minutes or until corn is done.
