Scalloped Potatoes With Green Pepper & Ham Recipe
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh grnd pepper
- 4 med. potatoes (about 1 1/2 lbs.), peeled if you like & sliced very thin
- 1 lg. green pepper, seeded & sliced very thin
- 2 med. onions, sliced very thin
- 2 c. diced cooked ham
- 1 1/2 c. hot lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Combine flour, salt and pepper; set aside.
- In greased shallow 2 qt casserole layer a third each of potatoes, flour mix, green pepper, onions and ham.
- Repeat layers twice.
- Add in lowfat milk.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese.
- Cover and bake in preheated oven 350 degrees for 45 min.
- Uncover and bake 30 to 40 min longer or possibly till potatoes are tender.
- Let stand 10 min before serving.
- Makes 4 servings.
- NOTE: If ham is very salty, reduce salt.
