G. G.'s Fried Balogna With Gravy
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, diced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 lb of good bologna, diced
- 14 cup ketchup
- 2 cups water
- 14 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Cook onion and garlic in butter or oil in large frying pan until transparent.
- Add bologna and brown lightly.
- Add ketchup and water.
- Cover and cook 15-20 minutes.
- Mix 1/4 cup cold water with 1 T. cornstarch and use this to thicken your sauce.
- Serve this over mashed potatoes, rice or bread.
