Frozen Chocolate Flecked Mousse
- 1 1/3 cups Oreo Baking Crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 egg whites
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
- 1 cup whipping cream, OR
- 2 cups Cool Whip Whipped Topping
- COMBINE crumbs and butter.
- Press evenly over bottom and 1 inch (2.5cm) up sides of a 9 inch (1 L/23cm) springform pan or 9 inch pie plate.
- Chill.
- BEAT egg whites until foamy throughout, gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in yogurt and vanilla.
- CHOP chocolate in food processor or blender until fine crumbs; fold into egg mixture.
- Beat cream until stiff; fold in chocolate mixture.
- Pour into pan; cover and freeze until firm, 8 hours or overnight.
