Dutch Lettuce Recipe

  1. Boil potatoes; drain and mash coarse.
  2. Cut pork into 1/2 inch pcs, fry till crisp.
  3. Take out and put on cut up lettuce, add in cut up Large eggs and potatoes.
  4. In the pork drippings, drain off half the lard; add in water and vinegar to pan and bring to a boil.
  5. Pour over the lettuce, pork, Large eggs and potatoes.
  6. Mix together.
  7. More vinegar can be added if you like.
