Sno-Ball Cake
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 4 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
- 3 envelopes Dram Whip
- 1 can Angel Flake coconut
- 1 large angel food cake
- maraschino cherries
- 1 c. sugar
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 c. boiling water
- Dissolve gelatin in cold water.
- Add boiling water until dissolved.
- Add sugar, lemon juice, pineapple and juice.
- Chill until partly firm.
- Whip 2 envelopes of Dream Whip (as directed on package).
- Fold into gelatin mixture.
- Line large bowl with aluminum foil.
- Break cake into pieces; add layer for layer of angel food cake and gelatin mixture.
- Chill overnight.
- Remove from bowl by laying plate on top.
- Turn upside-down.
- Mix other package of Dream Whip and spread over cake.
- Put coconut all over the cake. Top with red or green maraschino cherries cut in half.
- May also use 9 x 13-inch pan.
