Cherry Sauce For Ham Or Pork Recipe
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- Dash of salt
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Dash of grnd cloves
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 1 (16 ounce.) can undrained tart pie cherries
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt.
- Stir in juices, cherries, and seasonings.
- Cook and stir over medium heat till thick and bubbly.
- Cook and stir 1 to 2 min more.
- Serve hot with ham or possibly pork.
- Makes 2 2/3 c. sauce.
