Chicken Rice Pilaf Recipe
- 1 cut up chicken
- 2 c. raw rice
- 3/4 c. minced celery
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
- 1 env. dry onion soup mix
- 1 sm. can mushrooms
- 9 x 13 inch or possibly larger baking pan or possibly sm. roaster
- Pour raw rice over bottom of baking dish.
- Sprinkle celery, onion and green pepper over top of rice.
- Sprinkle liquid removed mushroom pcs over this.
- Mix mushroom soup with 3 cans of warm water; pour over rice.
- Sprinkle onion soup mix on top.
- Then place chicken on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 2 hrs.
