Hibiscus Tea with Vodka and Citrus

  1. *Can be found at specialty Latin markets
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the water, hibiscus flowers, and sugar over medium-high heat.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool for 25 minutes.
  5. Add the lemon juice, lime juice, and vodka.
  6. Place the ice in a tall pitcher.
  7. Strain the hibiscus tea into the pitcher and discard the flowers.
  8. Refrigerate until ready to use.
