Banana Nut Cake Recipe

  1. I've made this a number of times.
  2. It solves your query of a banana bread and it also comes from the first SAR (Salanta Akiba Riverdale Academy) cookbook, that also no longer has a cover and I think they might have published a new one.
  3. So it's an organization recipe which I like.
  4. I will forward some others from the myriad of cookbooks from shuls and schools which I have.
  5. Sift all dry ingredients together -add in bananas nuts, and butter or possibly margerine.
  6. Mix well in electric mixer.
  7. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  8. Grease square pan.
  9. Put a few whole nuts on batter for decoration.
  10. Bake about 1 hour.
  11. I usually add in chocolate chips.
