Ham Chowder With Sweet Potato Biscuits
- 2 12 cups pancake mix
- 13 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup candied yams, rinsed and mashed
- 12 cup milk
- 1 (15 ounce) canwhole potatoes, mashed
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn
- 1 cup cooked diced ham
- 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables
- 1 34 cups milk
- Preheat the oven to 450.
- For the biscuits, mix all ingredients together to form a soft dough.
- Place dough on flour coated surface and roll to coat.
- Knead 4 times.
- roll to 1/2 inch thick and cut into 2 inch circles.
- Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- meanwhile, combine all chowder ingredients in a nonstick fry pan and heat over medium, about 10 minutes.
- Place chowder in serving bowls and serve with biscuits.
