How to make extract(example, vanilla extract). - Vanilla Extract

• 1 liter vodka
• 2 vanilla beans
• 1 small bottle pure vanilla

1. Put vodka in large bowl or measuring cup.
2. Cut vanilla beans in half length-wise.
3. Scrape inside of vanilla bean and put in vodka.
4. Put bean pods in vodka.
5. Microwave vodka until hot, stirring a few times.
6. Return vodka to original bottle.
7. Add small bottle of pure vanilla to vodka mixture (This speeds up the curing time).
