Fried Cheese

  1. Mix flour and salt with beer.
  2. Fold in beaten egg whites.
  3. Let stand 4 to 6 hours in a warm, not hot, place.
  4. Cut cheese wedges in half vertically.
  5. Dip into batter.
  6. Fry in hot deep fat 375 degrees (200 C.) until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towel.
