Seared Sausage Pepper Jack Sandwich

  1. Cut each Smokie lengthwise in half, being careful to not cut through to opposite side.
  2. Melt butter in large skillet on medium-high heat.
  3. Add onions and Smokies, cut sides down; cook 2 to 3 min.
  4. on each side or until Smokies are heated through.
  5. Spread cut sides of rolls with mustard; fill with cheese and Smokies.
  6. Top with onions.
