Creamy Ranch Dressing
- 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 13 cup low-fat buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 shallot, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 2 tablespoons minced basil leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon minced oregano leaves
- 18 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
- Puree until smooth.
- Store in a covered container in the refrigerator 1 day.
