Welsh Bread Pudding Recipe

  1. Sprinkle half the raisins in 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. Add in 1 Tbsp.
  3. brown sugar.
  4. Place the triangle slices of bread to overlap each other.
  5. Mix lowfat milk and egg.
  6. Pour over bread.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining raisins, 1 Tbsp.
  8. brown sugar, lemon zest and cinnamon.
  9. (You can pour a small amount of cream or possibly half and half over the mix if desired the richer taste.)
  10. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 min till browned.
  11. Serve hot.
  12. Yields 8 servings.
