Broiled Roma Tomatoes
- 8 plum tomatoes, cut in half lengthwise
- 1 large garlic clove, pressed
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried, crumbled
- 4 teaspoons grated Romano cheese
- Preheat broiler.
- Place tomatoes cut side up in baking dish.
- Spread garlic over cut half of tomatoes.
- Sprinkle tomatoes with oregano then Romano.
- Season with pepper.
- Broil until tomatoes are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Serve.
