Easy Hummus
- 1 each chickpeas (garbanzo beans) can
- 2 each garlic cloves
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste) (sesame seed paste)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon curry powder optional
- Drain up to half of the liquid out of the can of chick peas.
- Put all the ingredients into a mixer and mix on high, stirring occasionally until it is a creamy, paste consistency.
- Makes a wonderful salad, dip or spread for sandwiches.
- Garnish with extra-virgin olive oil and fresh mint.
