Easy Sunday Beef Roast Recipe
- 4 pound beef chuck roast (or possibly any cut)
- 1 Campbell's Golden brown Mushroom Soup
- 2 tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet browning sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1 lg. size (14x20 inch) cooking bag
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Combine soup, browning sauce and water in a bowl; mix well.
- Salt and pepper the meat to taste and place in a cooking bag in shallow roasting pan.
- Pour liquid over the meat and tie bag.
- Cut a 1 inch slit in the top of the bag and place meat in a 325 degree oven.
- Roast for approximately 3 hrs.
- Remove the meat from the oven and carefully drain liquid into saucepan.
- Make gravy from the liquid - it's excellent!
