Easy East Meets West Baked Pork Chops
- 1/2 cup cherry cola
- 1/2 cup lite soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
- 6 bone-in pork loin center chops (2 lb.) Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Pork
- 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Combine first 6 ingredients; pour over chops in shallow glass dish.
- Refrigerate 2 hours to marinate, turning occasionally.
- Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Prepare stuffing mix as directed on package, following microwave directions.
- Stir in cheese; set aside.
- Remove chops from marinade; discard marinade.
- Pat chops dry with paper towels.
- Cut slit in center of fat side of each chop, making each cut the length of chop and almost to bone in center of each chop.
- Fill pockets evenly with stuffing mixture.
- Gently press down tops of chops to enclose stuffing.
- Place on baking sheet brushed with oil.
- Bake 25 to 30 min.
- or until chops are done (145 degrees F).
- Let stand 3 min.
