Useful Braised Burdock & Carrot

  1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, add burdock root and carrot and saute until they are coated with oil( maybe about 3~4 mins)
  2. Add sake, mirin, dried bonito flakes and braise with a lid until become slightly soft and still have the crunchy texture.
  3. Be careful not to burn it.
