Crockpot Chicken Cacciatore
- 10 whole Chicken Thighs, Bone-in, Skin Partially Removed
- 1/4 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 28 ounces, weight Can Crushed Tomatoes
- 6 ounces, weight Can Tomato Paste
- 1/2 cups Warm Water
- 1 bunch White Asparagus, Tips Removed, Chopped Diagonally
- 1/4 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1.
- Season chicken with onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- 2.
- Put the chicken into your crockpot (I have a 6-quart and had to stack them a bit).
- 3.
- Pour the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and warm water over the chicken.
- 4.
- Put the lid on, set the crockpot to high and cook for 4 1/2 hours.
- 5.
- When the timer beeps, remove the lid and stir in your white asparagus, followed by the red pepper flakes.
- 6.
- Keep the lid off!
- Set the timer for 1 more hour and continue cooking.
- 7.
- Once the timer beeps again, youre all set!
