Chewy Karaage-style Fried Okara
- 150 grams Fresh okara
- 80 grams Katakuriko
- 150 grams Tofu
- 1 tsp Grated ginger
- 1 heaping tablespoon Dashida
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 Coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 Vegetable oil
- Add the ingredients to a bowl and use a spoon to combine well until as soft as your earlobe.
- Use your hand to take out bite-sized clumps and, without forming into any shape, plop into the 170C deep-frying oil.
- Once they become golden brown, it's done (you could also pan-fry these).
