San Antonio Tacos
- 2 lbs ground round
- 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 12 teaspoon ground cumin
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon minced hot green chili pepper
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 12 cups tomato sauce
- 24 taco shells
- shredded lettuce
- finely chopped tomatoes
- shredded longhorn cheese
- Brown beef in skillet.
- Add onion, garlic, spices, chile, seasonings and tomato sauce.
- Cover and simmer 15 minutes while heating the taco shells according to package directions.
- Fill the shells with the meat mixture, then top with lettuce, tomato and cheese.
- Makes 24 tacos.
