Mushroom Pasta & Asparagus
- 14 cup butter
- 8 stalks asparagus (fresh)
- 14 cup onion, chopped (I like to use a little more like 1/2 an onion)
- 12 cup heavy whipping cream
- 11 ounces cream of mushroom soup (1 can)
- 16 ounces penne pasta (prepared)
- 1 lb ham, cubed (I like to get thickly sliced ham from the deli)
- Over medium heat melt butter in large skillet.
- Sautee onion and aspargus until softened.
- Add cooked ham cubed, whipping cream and cream of mushroom.
- Coat pasta and let stand one minute, serve.
