Major's venison stew
- 2 lb venison
- 3 large potatoes
- 4 medium carrots
- 2 medium onions
- 1 cup red wine
- 14 oz tomato sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 clove minced garlic
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 pinch salt
- dice vegetables into equal size pieces
- cut venison into 1 inch cubes
- place all ingredients into crockpot and cook on low for 8 hrs
