Spaghetti with garlic and olive oil
- 1 16 ounce package of spaghetti
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1/2 cup pasta water
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 salt & pepper
- Cook spaghetti according to the package.
- While pasta is cooking.
- Heat Olive oil in a deep sauce pan over medium heat
- When oil is hot add garlic and crushed red pepper.
- And cook for 2 minutes
- When pasta is cooked.
- Drain it and add it to the oil and garlic.
- Toss to coat the pasta with the oil
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Add parmesan cheese, pasta water, and parsley.
- Toss to combine
- Plate and serve with crusty Italian bread
