'sublime' Chocolate Cookies
- 2 cups flour
- 1 12 cups nesquick dry powdered chocolate milk mix
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 12 teaspoons coffee, Finely Ground
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 egg
- powdered sugar
- Mix dry ingredients until they are completely combined and lump free.
- Mix in egg, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and completely combined.
- With you hands, form 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls, roll in a moderate layer of powdered sugar (white, but not caked), and place widely apart on a greased cookie sheet (I strongly prefer parchment paper to greased sheets).
- Bake at 350 F for approx 10 minutes.
- Note: Chocolate milk mix can be replaced with 3/4 cup cocoa powder and 3/4 cup powdered sugar.
- Fine ground instant coffee can be used in place of regular coffee.
- I used corn flour in this recipe, but I'm sure white flour would work just fine.
