Shirmp De Jonghe Recipe
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp. parsley
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 1/3 c. sherry wine
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 lbs. raw cleaned shrimp
- Combine butter, salt, garlic, parsley, cayenne and bread crumbs.
- Arrange shrimp in shallow 3 to 4 qt casserole and top with crumb mix.
- Sprinkle all over with sherry.
- Bake at 375 degree oven for 15 min.
- Don't over cook.
- When topping has melted and slightly browned, serve.
- Serves 4-6.
