Stromboli Sandwiches
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Onion
- 1/2 cups Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 cups Catsup
- 2 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 teaspoons Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 6 ounces, weight Provolone Slices
- 6 whole Sandwich Buns
- Brown ground beef and onions in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the meat is browned, drain off any fat and add rest of the ingredients except cheese slices.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Then remove from heat and let meat sauce cool.
- Spoon meat mixture onto bottom half of 4-6 sandwich buns, top with slice of cheese and replace top of bun.
- Wrap each sandwich in foil.
- Store in fridge or freezer.
- Bake foil wrapped sandwiches in a 350 degree (F) oven for 15-20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
- If kept in freezer there is no need to thaw, simply pop them in the oven and bake.
