Barbeque Shrimp Recipe
- 1 lbs. shrimp, med.
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- K-C barbecue sauce
- skewers
- Soak skewers in hot water for about 1 hour.
- (this prevents them from burning during cooking,) Cut lb.
- of bacon in half.
- Cook till it is limp.
- Peel and wash shrimp.
- Drain.
- Place shrimp on cutting board, one at a time, curled tight and in rows of six.
- Place 1 water chestnut on each shrimp.
- Wrap with one bacon and put on skewer.
- Brush with barbecue sauce.
- Cook on barbecue grill till bacon is done.
