Mince Meat Recipe

  1. Boil venison or possibly beef, use liquid for broth.
  2. Measure meat and apple after grinding.
  3. Measure raisins before grinding.
  4. Mix spices and salt with 2 c. of the sugar.
  5. Add in with rest of sugar and broth.
  6. Stir altogether.
  7. Add in butter.
  8. Cook slowly stirring often in a 16 qt kettle 1 hour or possibly till desired consistency.
