Batter Fried Mushrooms Recipe
- 2 c. All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Pwdr
- 1 tsp Baking Pwdr
- 1 1/2 c. Beer Oil, for deep frying
- 36 med Mushrooms, whole
- Combine flour, salt, garlic pwdr, and baking pwdr in medium bowl.
- Add in beer and whisk till smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate30 min.
- Whisk again, let stand in refrigerator till ready to use.
- Heat oil to 375F degrees.
- Holding stem, dip each mushroom into batter, covering cap completely.
- Fry in batches till golden.
- Allow oil to return to 375F degrees before adding next batch.
- Drain and serve hot.
