Edd Kimber's baked figs with honey and cinnamon recipe

  1. Gently squeeze the figs at the base to make them open up like a flower.
  2. Put into a heatproof dish (an enamel pie dish works great) or a foil tray and drizzle over the honey.
  3. Dot the butter over and around the figs, then sprinkle over a little cinnamon.
  4. Put the dish or foil tray onto the barbecue (away from the direct heat) and close the lid.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until the fruit has softened.
