Braised Cranberry-Barbecue Sandwiches

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven.
  2. Add beef; bring to a boil.
  3. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 3 hours or til very tender, turning beef occasionally.
  4. Remove beef from pan.
  5. Reserve 2 c cooking liquid, discard remaining liquid.
  6. Shred beef with 2 forks.
  7. Return shredded beef to pan.
  8. Add reserved liquid, barbecue sauce, and cranberry sauce.
  9. Stir well.
  10. Cook over med-low 10 min or til heated through.
  11. Serve on buttered, toasted buns.
