Hot Fudge Sauce

  1. Melt chocolate & butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add the sugar.
  3. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
  4. Bring to a boil then reduce heat.
  5. Boil gently over low heat for 8 minutes stir frequently.
  6. Remove saucepan from heat & cool slightly.
  7. Serve warm over ice cream, cake, whatever you wish.
  8. If using for truffles, chill sauce and using a small spoon roll into balls.
  9. Roll balls in cocoa powder, nuts, coconut, whatever you wish.
  10. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
