Crab Melt
- 6 ounces, weight Crab Meat, Canned, Drained
- 1/4 cups Mayonnaise, Reduced Fat
- 1 teaspoon Cajun Creole Seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons Sweet Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Celery Finely Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Onion, Finally Chopped
- 2 slices Jalapeno, Pickled, Diced (optional)
- Salt And Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 4 slices Bread
- 1 ounce, weight Cheddar Cheese, Shredded Or Sliced
- In a small bowl, add crab meat, mayonnaise, Cajun Creaole seasoning, bell pepper, celery, onions and jalapeno.
- Mix until combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- To make the sandwich, butter the top and bottom piece of bread.
- Add crab salad to a slice of bread, top with cheese.
- Place sandwich on a griddle and cook until cheese is melted and bread is browned.
