Cyclone Chili
- 2 lb beef chuck, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 8 tomatillos, husked, washed and chopped
- 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 8oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp crushed cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 5 fresh jalapeno peppers, diced discard seeds and membranes or for extra hot use habanero chili peppers
- brown beef in hot oil in a large heavy kettle.
- if not u can use any large pot.
- add jalapenos, onion, garlic,tomatillos and green pepper to the beef.
- toss together.
- add rest of ingredients.
- mix well.
- bring to a full boil.
- reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours our until beef is very tender.

- I've made this once and my dad makes this alot in the winter.
- I don't add the hot peppers at all cuz I can't do spicy.
