Celery Saute
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 14 cup finely chopped onion
- 3 cups celery, cut in 1-inch slices
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 12 cup beef gravy
- 6 slices toast
- Place bacon in a skillet and saute until crisp.
- Remove and set aside.
- Saute onion in the bacon fat until golden brown.
- Add celery, tomato sauce, and gravy.
- Cover and simmer until celery is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Serve over the toast.
