Marinated Tofu
- 1/2 cups Tamari Sauce
- 1 cup Water
- 3 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- 1 teaspoon Powdered Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Basil (dry)
- 1/2 teaspoons Thyme (dry)
- 1 block Extra-firm Tofu, Drained And Cubed
- Mix all the ingredient but the tofu in a bowl.
- Put the tofu in a plastic container or serving dish that you can cover.
- Pour the marinade over the tofu.
- Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
- You can also slightly coat the tofu in flour or cornmeal and saute it if you desire, but we almost always eat it straight from the container here
