Borage Cider Cup Recipe
- 600 ml Dry cider, (1 pint)
- 1 x Lemon, sliced
- 4 Tbsp. Minced borage leaves
- 300 ml Orange juice, (1/2 pint)
- 600 ml Soda water, (1 pint)
- 6 sprg flowering borage, (optional)

- Stir the minced herbs into the pineapple juice and refrigeratefor several hrs.
- 2.
- When ready to serve, strain and stir in the mineral water.
- 3.
- Add in a dash of bitters.
- 4.
- Serve each helping with a measure of vodka if you like and a marjoram flower floating on the top.
- NOTES : Borage has been used to flavour and garnish wine c. since the time of the ancient Greeks, who said which the herb banished melancholy and made people cheerful.
- Certainly, the sight of the bright blue flowers bobbing on the top of this delicious mix are sufficient to raise anyone''s spirits !
