Baked Cheesecake

  1. Pre-heat oven to 300f or 150C.
  2. a 9 Inch tin about 2-3 inches deep with a loose base.
  3. Melt butter in saucepan, then stir in biscuits, transfer to cake tin and press down evenly.
  4. Now combine eggs, cheese and sugar together till they form a smooth thick cream, then mix in vanilla essence.
  5. Pour over the biscuit base smoothing it out evenly --
  6. Cook cheesecake for 30 minutes on the centre shelf then turn off oven and leave it to get quite cold in the oven.
  7. then chill for at least two hours -- .
