Green Bean And Potato Casserole Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. potato flakes
- 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1 can green beans, liquid removed
- Brown grnd beef and drain.
- Add in onion, celery, cream of mushroom soup and pepper.
- Let simmer 20 min.
- Meanwhile mix and bring to boil water, salt and butter; remove from heat and add in lowfat milk, flaked potatoes and 3/4 c. of the cheese.
- Grease or possibly spray with Pam a 1 1/2 qt casserole.
- Layer beef-soup mix; then green beans and top with scoops of potato mix.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 20 min.
