Asparagus With Nutmeg Browned Butter Recipe
- 2 lb Fresh asparagus spears or possibly
- 2 pkt (10-ounce) frzn asparagus spears Boiling, salted water Salt
- 6 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/4 tsp Grated or possibly grnd nutmeg
- Wash and trim fresh asparagus spears.
- Cook fresh or possibly frzn spears in a small amount of boiling, salted water till just tender.
- Drain thoroughly.
- Season lightly with salt; turn into serving dish.
- ln a small pan, heat butter till it bubbles and browns slightly; stir in nutmeg.
- Pour butter mix over asparagus.
- Serve immediately.
- Makes six (6) servings.
