Asparagus With Nutmeg Browned Butter Recipe

  1. Wash and trim fresh asparagus spears.
  2. Cook fresh or possibly frzn spears in a small amount of boiling, salted water till just tender.
  3. Drain thoroughly.
  4. Season lightly with salt; turn into serving dish.
  5. ln a small pan, heat butter till it bubbles and browns slightly; stir in nutmeg.
  6. Pour butter mix over asparagus.
  7. Serve immediately.
  8. Makes six (6) servings.
