Crispy Fried Fish Recipe

  1. Combine yolks, 1 c. water, vinegar, 1 tsp.
  2. salt, 1/4 tsp.
  3. pepper and 1 Tbsp.
  4. oil.
  5. Gradually stir into the flour till smooth.
  6. Let stand 30 min.
  7. In a deep fryer or possibly other deep pot, heat about 3 inches of oil to 375 degrees.
  8. Cut fish into serving pcs.
  9. Dip fish into batter and let excess drip off.
  10. Slip a few pcs at a time into warm oil and cook till golden, about 5 min.
  11. Drain on paper towels.
