Astonishing Salmon Flakes
- 3 pieces Lightly Salted Salmon
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 tsp Vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp Chinese soup stock
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- I used cheap lightly salted salmon imported from Chile.
- It's good as-is but...
- Sprinkle the salmon with 2 tablespoons of sake and 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave for 3 to 5 minutes at 500 W until cooked through.
- Crush the salmon with a whisk while removing the bones and skin with your hands.
- Add the soup stock granules, and salt if it's needed.
- If using a food processsor, put the salmon meat in liquid and all.
- Add the soup stock granules, taste and add salt if needed.
- Pulse briefly to make flakes.
- Take out the small bones, taste and add a little salt if needed.
- It goes better with plain rice if it's a bit on the salty side.
- It's amazingly good!
