Darjeeling with Ginger Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 5 slices unpeeled ginger
- Darjeeling tea
- In a saucepan bring the sugar, water and ginger slices to a boil.
- Turn heat off and let sit 20 minutes to infuse the flavor.
- Use immediately or store with ginger left in, refrigerated.
- Make a pot of good first flush Darjeeling tea and sweeten it with the ginger syrup.
