Darjeeling with Ginger Syrup

  1. In a saucepan bring the sugar, water and ginger slices to a boil.
  2. Turn heat off and let sit 20 minutes to infuse the flavor.
  3. Use immediately or store with ginger left in, refrigerated.
  4. Make a pot of good first flush Darjeeling tea and sweeten it with the ginger syrup.
