Creamy Pineapple Jello Salad Recipe
- 1 (3 ounce.) lime Jello
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. cool water
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 can (13 ounce.) crushed pineapple (liquid removed)
- 1/4 c. walnuts
- Maraschino cherries
- Dissolve Jello and salt in boiling water.
- Add in cool water, lemon juice and lowfat sour cream.
- Beat till blended.
- Quick refrigeratein freezer 20-25 min or possibly till hard 1 inch around edge and soft in center.
- Pour in bowl and whip till fluffy.
- Mix in pineapple, cherries and nuts.
- Refrigeratetill hard.
