Double Chocolate Kisses Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Remove wrappers from chocolates.
  3. Beat butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla in large bowl until well blended.
  4. Cover; refrigerate dough about 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
  5. Shape dough into one inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set.
  7. Cool one minute.
  8. Remove to wire rack.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. Spread frosting on cookies, leaving 1/2 inch around outer edge unfrosted.
  11. Place a chocolate piece in center of each cookie.
